Rocky Horror dance

Yesterday afternoon we gathered at The Frankenstein Place, high above Raven Park, for our very own Transylvanian convention. Much fun was had, much time was warped, much man was made... Well, okay, the latter is up for debate. But still, it was all sorts of fun. You can find an album of photos over on imgur (albeit one that's in no sensible order since imgur broke the ordering of images in albums). Here's a few highlights:

Many thanks to everyone who came along and made it such fun, and to Miss Eve for a wonderful selection of music to keep us entertained for the two hours. Also, a huge thanks to Miss Anna for a wonderful and fun build. I think it's fair to say that it was a bit of a labour of love for her. ;)

See you all in a couple of weeks for the next Raven Park dance!

Raven Park dance this Saturday

This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, given that it's getting close to Halloween, it seems to make sense that we go with a theme that's horror-based in some way.

Only.... this is Raven Park. We can't really do any ordinary horror now can we?

Only one thing for it then!

That's right, it's time for some murdering, cannibalistic, fetishistic, cross-dressing fun! We're going full Rocky Horror!

Here's the details:

Date: Saturday October 29th
Time: 3pm to 5pm SLT
Where: Raven Park
Music by: Eve Terr

Halloween gifts

Given that it's getting to that time of year again I thought I'd put the Z&A Halloween gifts back out in the shop. The first is a silly RLV attachment that turns you into a ghost, of sorts. Bit of a rubbish ghost really, but that's the idea. ;)

The is a Z&A hold and display (well, not display much in this case) device in the form of a grave:

To get them just pop over the main store and slap the boards you'll find in the free products section:

Do note that the grave is limited to 1 per avatar so, if you picked one up last year, it will remind you that you already own a copy rather than deliver it.

Hope you have some Halloween RLV fun!

Steampunk dance

Yesterday, we gathered in an airship (supplied by the ever-amazing Drow Science) hovering just about the Raven Park Mansion and enjoyed the best Steampunk tunes Miss Eve had to offer. You can find an album of photos from the event (some taken by Antony, some by Miss Anna -- hence the rather different lighting conditions) over on imgur. Here are some highlights:

Many thanks to everyone who came along and made it such fun, and to Miss Eve for the great selection of music. Hopefully we'll see you all in a couple of weeks time for the next dance.

Raven Park dance this Saturday

This Saturday it's time for another Raven Park dance and, this time, we're going with a theme we try and have once a year because... well, because it's very Raven Park. It's time for some:

Steampunk!

That's right! Once again you get to put on your best steampunk or neo-Victorian outfit and come enjoy Miss Eve's specially-themed musical choices while doing the usual Raven Park thing of making terrible puns and discussing all sorts of theme-related oddness.

Here's the details:

Date: Saturday October 15th
Time: 3pm to 5pm SLT
Where: Raven Park
Music by: Eve Terr

Z&A Holding Box

Z&A have all sorts of devices and cells for keeping your victim or inmate in place. Some are very large cells, some are very uncomfortable devices and forms of restraint, some smaller and a little more claustrophobic. This new release is intended to be at the uncomfortable and claustrophobic end of that spectrum. I call it the "Holding Box":

Fitted with a hard seat and chain points for the hands and legs, it's quite narrow and has a very low ceiling, causing the inmate to stay mostly immobile and bent over. Just the perfect place to keep the more problem individuals before deciding their ultimate fate.

It comes in both steel and rust versions and, as well as the normal transfer version (rust, steel), there's also copy versions (rust, steel) for those who prefer to but for bulk use.

You can find the Holding Box on the Second Life Marketplace (click on the vendor images above to be taken to the listings) and also in the new product area of the main store (where you can see them in person and give them a try out).

Oktoberfest(ish) dance

Yesterday we gathered together in a beer tent high above Raven Park and enjoyed a couple of hours of boozy fun, listening to a great collection of tunes Miss Eve had put together for us, nattering and being daft about a whole range of subjects.

There's an album of photos from the dance over on imgur. Here's a few highlights:

When you say something unkind about Babylon 5, justice is swift.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it fun, to Miss Eve for a fun and rocking set of tunes, and to Miss Anna for a really fun backdrop for the dance. See you all in a couple of weeks!
