Raven Park dance this Saturday

This Saturday Raven Park dances return after their short break and, this time, we're sort of going "on tour" again.

The reason is... there's a new shop showing up on the region. I'm not exactly sure when this started; there's a rumour of an extractor hood being made (and likely worn) in a Linden home a good couple or more years ago, there's also Doctor Who onesies, oil painting dresses, punishment pants (don't ask) and any number of other "I know, I'll make our outfits for a dance!". There's also lots of Raven Park dance sets over the last couple of years. However it got started, and however it turned into a thing, Anna has been encouraged (and nagged) to join the ranks of creators with an in-world shop.

The shop is filled with clothing of all sorts, with a large emphasis on role play costumes, both general (male and female convict outfits, for example) and more specific (space cowboy, anyone?). Given that Anna can be a little shy about showing her stuff off Miss Eve and I decided it would be a good idea to inform her that she's formally opening the shop this Saturday with a party.

So......

Z&A Vehicle (Chariot)

Today it's time for the release of another "refit" vehicle. As with the last couple of weeks, this is another vehicle where the dominant gets to relax (well, sort of, in this case) while the sub/slave does all the hard work. This is a refit of the Z&A Chariot:

It uses the new vehicle system (so has fewer scripts and uses less script memory), has had a refresh of the texture work (with a nice sprinkle of materials added), and has a lower land impact too (LI6 vs LI11 for the older version).

The vehicle has a RLV-controlled driver's position, and a position for the passenger in the main part of the chariot.

The passenger's animation has them occasionally whipping the driver, and that wouldn't make much sense without a whip, would it? So the vehicle has a menu option that gives a copy/transfer prop whip.

The vehicle itself is simple to drive and, as with all of the Z&A vehicles, is designed to be accessible with easy-to-use menu options and appropriate RLV options to keep the victim nice and secure for the duration of the ride.

For those who wish to make the vehicle available for public use on their region, there's a public rezzer version too:

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted chariots.

If you'd like to try the vehicle out, see what it looks like, see how it drives, etc, do feel free to pop down to the main store and head to the vehicle test area where you'll find a rezzer set up. As well as vendor boards in the main store you'll also find the vehicle and the rezzer for sale on the Second Life marketplace.

Z&A Leash Posts & Points

I've just added a new little free product to the main store and the Second Life Marketplace. It's a small collection of leash posts and points that are based on objects that I've made over the past couple of years for other builds around Raven Park. Rather than have them just sat in my inventory, I thought it might be helpful to have them available for free in the shop.

I hope they've of some use to others.

Z&A vehicle (Pipe Trap)

Today I'm releasing another "refit" vehicle. This is another one where, as with the Rickshaw, the dominant gets to enjoy to sit back, relax, and let the "victim" do all the work. And this time they can bring a friend. This is a refit of the Pipe Trap:

As well as using the new vehicle system (so having fewer scripts and using less script memory) the textures have been given a bit of an overhaul, having had a nice sprinkle of materials added. The land impact is also lower (now LI12 vs the original LI25).

The vehicle has a RLV-controlled driver's position, and two cushions for a pair of passengers who get to enjoy being pulled along by the driver.

The vehicle itself is simple to drive and, as with all of the Z&A vehicles, is designed to be accessible with easy-to-use menu options and appropriate RLV options to keep the victim nice and secure for the duration of the ride.

The picnic on the back shelf can be shown and hidden via a menu option.

For those who wish to make the vehicle available for public use on their region, there's a public rezzer version too:

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted rickshaws.

Z&A Random Object Thrower

A couple or so weeks back we had a Raven Park dance themed around a music festival. As part of the build I thought that, given we'd all be dancing on the stage, it'd be silly fun to have the audience throw random stuff at us from time to time. It didn't take too much work to knock together a script to make it happen and, having done so, I thought it could be fun to turn it into a general tool and make it available as a free product:

I'm not quite sure what people might use it for generally (perhaps you might like to fill it with fruit and veg and have it throw them at someone locked in some stocks) but it seemed a shame not to share it and let you decide.

You can find it with all the other free products in the main store, or just grab it from over on the Second Life Marketplace.

Z&A Vehicle (Rickshaw)

Today I'm releasing another "refit" vehicle. After a string of releases where the dominant is in the driving position, this one puts the submissive firmly in the driving role, having them do all the work and allowing the dominant to enjoy being transported. It's a nice dark lacquered wood rickshaw:

As well as using the new vehicle system (so having fewer scripts and using less script memory) the textures have been given a bit of an overhaul, having had a nice sprinkle of materials added. The land impact is also slightly lower (now LI4 vs the original LI5).

The vehicle has a RLV-controlled driver's position, and a cushion for a passenger who gets to enjoy being pulled along by the driver.

The vehicle itself is simple to drive and, as with all of the Z&A vehicles, is designed to be accessible with easy-to-use menu options and appropriate RLV options to keep the victim nice and secure for the duration of the ride.

There's also a menu option for showing and hiding the canopy, if not having one attached is a preference.

Z&A Vehicle (Caged Luggage)

Today I'm releasing another "refit" vehicle and, while it's yet another one that has the theme of transporting your property, it's a lot slower than the recent vans, quad bike and 6x6. This one is more about transporting people over a short distance. It's called the "Caged Luggage":

As well as using the new vehicle system (so having fewer scripts and using less script memory) the textures have been given a bit of an overhaul, having had a nice sprinkle of materials added.

The vehicle has a position for the driver, who stands behind the trolley and pushes it, and in the cage on the front a space for RLV-controlled "luggage".

As well as including the normal vehicle (there's no need to buy both if you want a personal vehicle and a public rezzer version) it also includes a rezzer object that will rez copies of the vehicle that anyone can drive -- with a full clean-up system that ensures your region doesn't fill up with unwanted caged luggage.

Lockstock 2017

Yesterday afternoon we gathered on the stage of Lockstock and danced and listened to the tunes from Miss Eve and nattered and laughed and dodged random shit being thrown at us from the crowd. There's an album of photos from the event over on Google Photos. Here's some highlights:

Many thanks to everyone who came along, and to Miss Eve for all the great tunes. See you all in a couple of weeks!
